Infinite
A concept for an infinite canvas tool designed for creative thinkers who work spatially, not linearly.

Infinite is a concept exploration of spatial, canvas-based thinking tools. The project questions the assumptions built into most productivity software: that information is linear, hierarchical, and document-centric. Infinite imagines a working environment for creative thinkers who think in networks, not notes.
Linear documents impose a structure that not all thinking follows. Canvas tools exist, but they are largely designed for collaboration rather than thought. Infinite explores the design language of a personal, intimate infinite canvas - built for one person's creative process rather than a team's alignment session.
The interface language borrows from physical studio environments: pin boards, sketch pads, and spatial layouts rather than UI chrome. The design aims to feel ambient and calm - tools that encourage thinking rather than demanding attention.
An ongoing concept exploration within the FORGE ecosystem. The project influences the interaction and UX philosophy across other FORGE products.

The most interesting product ideas often come from questioning assumptions so embedded in a category that no one notices them.
- 02
Designing for individual thought processes is harder and more rewarding than designing for team communication.
- 03
Concept projects with strong philosophical foundations produce more distinctive UI than projects that start from visual inspiration.
